Vendor Licence Analyst

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for around 2–3 years of commercial experience, although we will also consider strong early-career candidates.
• We need strong analytical and commercial thinking.
• We require excellent Power BI, Excel and SQL skills.
• Python experience is advantageous.
• We value strong data analysis and reporting experience.
• Technology industry experience is beneficial.
• FinOps or licensing experience is not essential.
• We expect excellent attention to detail.
• We need strong communication and presentation skills.
• We are looking for a proactive and commercially curious mindset.
• You should feel confident challenging assumptions and presenting findings.
• AI tooling experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• We analyse vendor licensing consumption.
• We review licensing purchases and customer usage.
• We monitor vendor commitments and renewal exposure.
• We assess licensing efficiency and commercial performance.
• We identify unused capacity and over-purchasing.
• We identify undercharging and overcommitment.
• We produce licensing and commercial reporting.
• We build dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• We analyse datasets using SQL and Python.
• We report on forecasting and gross profit impact.
• We present findings and challenge assumptions.
• We improve commercial data accuracy and visibility.
• We support the development of Revenue Operations.

We are a high-growth technology organisation operating within the cyber resilience and backup space, and we are partnering with VIQU to hire a newly created Vendor Licence Analyst role. This is a fully remote UK position with quarterly face-to-face meetings and a salary of £40,000 to £50,000. The role sits within a growing commercial analytics function and offers the opportunity to take ownership of a new area of responsibility while developing into a broader Revenue Operations and commercial analytics function as we continue to grow.
