Technical Program Manager
Job Description
Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:- 5+ years leading complex, multi-team software or technology programs in fast-paced or early-stage environments.
- Strong technical fluency and comfort working with engineers across modern software, ML, and robotics stacks.
- Systems thinking with the ability to understand how changes in one area affect the broader system.
- Ability to stay neutral and adapt under pressure in ambiguous, high-tension situations.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, dependency tracking, and adapting to change.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and surface risk early.

- Ideally 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager.
- An engineering or computer science degree, or equivalent experience working as an engineer.
- Proficiency in Jira or similar tools.
- Exposure to autonomous vehicles, robotics, ML, simulation/evaluation, or other safety-critical or compute-heavy domains is desirable.
- Lead complex, cross-functional programs across engineering functions including AI, software, robotics, infrastructure, evaluation, validation, data, and product.
- Turn ambiguity into clear plans and keep multi-team delivery predictable in a fast-moving environment.
- Own the project lifecycle and improve delivery outcomes through structured execution and coordination.
- Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and improve tooling and resource allocation to increase throughput.
- Improve alignment across teams through effective communication, shared goals, and faster decisions.
- Anticipate issues, develop mitigation plans, and minimize impact on timelines and quality.
- Engage regularly with internal stakeholders, manage expectations, and deliver on commitments.
- Ensure programs support our strategic priorities through smart scope and resource decisions.
- Lead retrospectives, encourage feedback, and implement process improvements to strengthen team dynamics and outcomes.
