Technical Product Owner - ServiceNow

Salary: £51,000 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• We require at least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Product Owner, Administrator, or Developer.
• We require a strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, products, and applications.
• We require experience working in Agile development environments.
• We require the ability to write clear and concise epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• We require hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, automation, and integrations, including APIs and middleware.
• We require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• We highly prefer ServiceNow certifications, such as ServiceNow Certified Administrator, and relevant ServiceNow University accreditations.
• We consider knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow development advantageous.
• We consider a background in enterprise-level digital transformation projects advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• We expect this role to act as a primary collaboration point between CTO architects and the Product team on architecture and design.
• We expect this role to serve as a ServiceNow subject matter expert in cross-system design discussions and contribute to high-level design and reference architecture.
• We expect this role to evaluate new tools, managed packages, and innovation ideas.
• We expect this role to work with the Head of Product Management, GIS, and business stakeholders to define and implement a new ServiceNow operating model, roadmap, and Agile ways of working.
• We expect this role to stay current with ServiceNow releases, best practices, and industry trends to maximize platform capabilities.
• We expect this role to liaise between GIS and business stakeholders, development teams, functional consultants, and ServiceNow administrators during product delivery.
• We expect this role to work with developers and architects to design and implement scalable, efficient ServiceNow solutions.
• We expect this role to translate business problems, architectural requirements, and epic-level requirements into product solution designs, options analyses, and recommendations.
• We expect this role to lead technical product discussions between IT teams and explain technical designs in business terms to stakeholders.
• We expect this role to manage application enhancement and small change requests, working with Business Product Owners to develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
• We expect this role to identify and document technical requirements and add them to the product backlog.
• We expect this role to support developers and functional consultants with lower-level design documents.
• We expect this role to contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies to support successful delivery of enhancements.
• We expect this role to perform configuration and development as needed.
• We expect this role to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the ServiceNow environment.
• We expect this role to monitor and evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• We expect this role to manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants as needed.
