Technical Architect - Authentication

Requirements:

• Active SC clearance is required.
• Strong experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar architecture-focused role.
• Strong software development background.
• Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies.
• Good working knowledge of OIDC and OAuth.
• Experience designing user-facing web or application integrations.
• Strong AWS/cloud experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused digital services.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, security and scalability.
• Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of continuous delivery and DevOps cultures.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Take ownership of technical outcomes and support teams through design and delivery.
• Lead technical decision-making and take a balanced approach to technology selection.
• Work closely with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists.
• Support the integration of authentication and identity services across user-facing applications.
• Influence senior stakeholders and support evidence-based technical decision-making.
