Systems Engineer

Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require candidates to be willing and eligible to hold SC and eDV clearance.
• Experience maintaining a laptop estate via endpoint management software.
• Knowledge of networking, including security and IT governance frameworks.
• Working experience with IT project delivery.
• Administration experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
• PowerShell script writing and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS.
• Prior experience working independently on site with minimal supervision.
• CompTIA Network, ITIL 4, ISO27001 or a similar certification is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates of the IT estate.
• Conduct regular audits, reports, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support to end users across thin clients, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, onboard and offboard users, and manage permissions and access to internal and external systems.
• Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with IT projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and recovery.
• Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, printers, and telephony systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on site.
