Software Engineer

Salary: £28,500 - 49,000 per year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial engineering experience
• Strong backend or cloud experience
• Experience with backend technologies such as Python, Java, C++, C# or Rust
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Kubernetes
• Frontend experience with TypeScript or React is nice to have
• Some level of experience within Defence, National Security or Policing / Justice
• Applicants must hold active SC or DV clearance

• Build and deliver software as part of capability development programmes across national security, policing and the wider public sector
• Design resilient backend services
• Integrate complex data sources
• Build tooling that analysts rely on to make critical decisions
• Work closely with customers and colleagues
• Mentor more junior engineers
