Software Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• Considerable commercial Java experience
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Spring Boot microservices, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, ActiveMQ, Kafka
• Aptitude and demonstrable passion for building great software
• Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies
• Experience working in an agile team
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineers, Software Engineers in Test, BA, Product Owner, and Scrum Master

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain software for internal and external customers
• Work collaboratively within an agile product team
• Blend user feedback and best practices to evolve software delivery
• Continuously assess and improve software delivery processes
• Apply testing principles, TDD, and automation
• Ensure software and systems built are easy to support and operate
• Foster a culture of improvement for fellow engineers
• Embrace AI solutions to maximize effectiveness
