Software Developer

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial experience developing software using Java
• Experience working with Spring Boot, or extensive Java experience with exposure to similar frameworks
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a development team
• Experience of pair programming
• Exposure to modern software development practices and CI/CD
• Experience working within product-focused environments
• Experience within healthcare, SaaS or regulated industries

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and technical discussions
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain development best practices
• Support the continuous improvement of systems, processes and development standards
• Work as part of a collaborative team environment, including pair programming where appropriate
