Site Reliability Engineer (Remote) - Chinese Speakers

Salary: £77,691 - 86,324 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for someone with a bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• We require 3–5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related role.
• You should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• You should be familiar with monitoring and observability tools.
• Were looking for experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools.
• You should have knowledge of Linux systems, networking, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• You should have basic scripting or programming skills, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• We value strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
• We value effective communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional, are a strong advantage.
• English is mandatory; the ability to speak Chinese is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• We rely on you to maintain the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure and services to ensure continuous operations.
• Youll monitor production environments and manage observability tools to track metrics, logs, and alerts for proactive issue detection.
• Youll support incident response by troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis, and leading post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
• Youll manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP to improve resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Youll implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce errors.
• Youll enhance system scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency by identifying and applying improvements.
• Youll support security best practices by ensuring compliance and coordinating vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Youll collaborate with our engineering and platform teams to drive service reliability improvements and operational excellence.
• Youll perform system performance tuning, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization to meet evolving business demands.
• Youll carry out additional platform engineering and operational tasks as assigned to support overall system health.
