Senior UX Designer

Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require UK citizenship for this role.
• We require you to already hold the highest level of UK Government clearance.

• We are looking for a varied portfolio that demonstrates the quality of your design thinking and research and testing methods.
• We are looking for some experience of managing designers and project work.
• We are looking for excellent communication skills to present ideas and feedback to the project team and to provide feedback to other UX designers.
• We are looking for a solid understanding of UX practices within software development.
• We are looking for a good understanding of accessibility and inclusive design techniques, or a keen willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to design high-quality artefacts that support features defined from the project roadmap.
• We will rely on you to support software application development in an Agile environment that helps collect data, analyse it, and support information-aware decision-making.
• We will rely on you to confidently explain and present final design choices to varied audiences.
• We will rely on you to create artefacts that support the lean process, including wireframes, prototypes, customer journey maps, testing, and research.
• We will rely on you to lead the development of features, ensuring the work is consistent and fulfils design aims.
• We will rely on you to lead small teams and be accountable for the quality of delivery.
• We will rely on you to facilitate workshops that build collaboration between project team members.
• We will rely on you to liaise with Product Owners, project stakeholders, and other key project team members to help deliver the desired user experience.
