Senior Network All-Rounder

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• At least 3 years hands-on Senior Network Engineer or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, FortiGate, Meraki, SD-WAN, VPNs and network security.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting complex routing and switching environments.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and non-technical colleagues.
• Proven experience leading network projects from design through to implementation.
• Proven ability to own technical issues and drive them independently to resolution.
• Relevant degree, professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
• Able to drive, with own transport and office attendance as agreed.

• Lead improvements across our network and infrastructure environment.
• Interact with our users and stakeholders to understand needs and support delivery.
• Solve complex technical problems and own issues through to resolution.
• Regularly visit our remote sites.
• Strengthen security and modernise infrastructure.
• Help shape the future of our network environment.
• Work across networking, security, cloud services, automation, and infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to network design, security improvement, automation, project delivery, troubleshooting, documentation, and strategic planning.
