Senior Manager, Data Solution Architect

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in Data Solutions Architecture involving some or all of the following: functional data architecture design, data modelling, data management principles, data quality frameworks, master data management, and reporting requirements.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, and experience developing and proposing solutions to senior stakeholders while articulating functional solutions and business value.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams, providing day-to-day leadership that nurtures team members and fosters a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Experience working with peers and senior enterprise solution/data architecture functions to develop data architecture blueprints and present functional architecture designs to stakeholders, including Design Authorities or Architecture Boards.
• Experience conducting functional architectural evaluation, design, and analysis of enterprise-wide systems, including cloud-based solutions, and making product selection or build-vs-buy recommendations from a functional capability perspective.
• Experience engaging with both business and IT stakeholders to document business outcomes and objectives for large-scale solutions and programmes.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced project environments and demonstrating personal resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Data Solution Architecture projects and devise innovative solutions to address clients biggest data challenges, including modern analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement data solutions that enable significant business outcomes.
• Lead, define, and shape large, complex data initiatives across industries.
• Own deliverables and client stakeholder relationships while delivering solutions using agile methodologies.
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries, subject matters, and locations.
• Lead the definition and design of data and AI solutions.
• Help market-leading clients understand how they can leverage data and cutting-edge technologies to address challenges, ambitions, and objectives.
• Work closely with executive-level client stakeholders and cross-functional project teams to translate business vision and requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead the creation of strategic roadmaps for Data & AI capabilities, focusing on functional requirements needed to generate insights from insurance claims data assets.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of innovative solutions, sharing expertise and best practices with clients and colleagues.
• Lead effective, diverse teams within an inclusive culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
• Contribute to client project delivery by owning one or more functional workstreams.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
• Contribute to proposals for new business opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and the vendor landscape through continuous learning and build relationships and functional solution understanding with leading claims solution vendors.
