Senior Linux System Administrator (DV Cleared)

Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Linux administration experience, including RHEL, Rocky Linux, or similar distributions
• VMware vSphere/ESXi experience
• Experience with Ansible or equivalent automation tools
• Bash or shell scripting skills
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and troubleshooting
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure security

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimise Linux server environments
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage, and performance issues
• Support secure IT infrastructure and CI/CD environments

The role is based in Reading and is 100% on-site, Monday to Friday, for 37.5 hours per week.
