Senior IBM Planning Analytics Consultant

Requirements:

• Extensive commercial experience delivering IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics solutions within large, complex enterprise organisations.
• Strong understanding of finance, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, with the ability to engage confidently with senior finance stakeholders.
• Experience leading Planning Analytics projects from initial requirements through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.
• Consultancy experience is highly advantageous, although candidates with enterprise Planning Analytics delivery experience in large corporate environments are also encouraged to apply.
• Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part qualified, with the ability to engage with finance teams and understand commercial drivers.
• Experience administering IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics environments, with installation and upgrade experience advantageous.
• Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC) where required for client projects.

• Deliver IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics solutions for enterprise clients.
• Work with finance teams to understand planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements.
• Design, develop and implement robust Planning Analytics solutions that deliver business value.
• Provide consultancy throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Advise clients on best practice and challenge existing processes where appropriate.
• Deliver high-quality solutions that support better planning, reporting and decision making.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships while delivering technical expertise.
• Lead clients through complex Planning Analytics projects from discovery to successful delivery.

We are a highly respected specialist consultancy delivering IBM Cognos TM1 and Planning Analytics solutions to enterprise organisations across the UK. We work with some of the countrys largest and most complex businesses, combining deep technical expertise with a consultative approach to help clients improve financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. This is a remote contract role with fully expensed travel to client sites across the UK when required, offering an initial six-month term with strong potential to extend as part of a significant long-term client programme.
