Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements:- We require experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong skills in CI/CD, containerisation, deployment technologies, and cloud platforms such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, IaC, Docker, and AWS.
- We require experience in Linux system administration or similar operating systems.
- We require an understanding of database technologies such as SQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
- We require strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, ideally gained in an agile environment.
- We require British National status for this clearance type.
- We require that you currently hold the Highest Level of UK Government security clearance.
- We design, develop, and maintain the critical infrastructure that powers our services.
- We perform hands-on development and contribute actively to the code base, including peer reviews.
- We design engineering features that support delivery of the product roadmap and clearly articulate design decisions.
- We break down large pieces of work into well-defined tasks aligned with Agile delivery.
- We set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and take ownership of build and deployment processes.
- We demonstrate development progress to internal and external customers through clear, confident presentations.
- We provide technical leadership and a proactive approach to guide engineers through delivery and engineering challenges.
