Senior Developer - Mainframe

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a mainframe environment
• Solid commercial experience with COBOL/CICS COBOL
• Solid commercial experience with ADABAS NATURAL
• Solid commercial experience with DB2 and SQL
• Solid commercial experience with JCL
• Desirable experience with zOS Connect
• Desirable experience with Websphere MQ
• Desirable experience with SOAP/REST APIs
• Desirable experience with XML
• Desirable experience with JSON
• Desirable experience with .NET
• Desirable experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps / TFS
• Desirable experience with Endevor (Software Change Manager)

Responsibilities:

• Work on the development and support of our gift card systems
• Help maintain and support our other mainframe applications
• Contribute across all aspects of the development lifecycle
• Provide analysis and programming skills in core languages
• Review and support the gathering of user requirements
• Produce sustainable and efficient solutions following Agile methodologies
• Design, code, maintain, and support business-critical systems used 24/7, 365 days a year
• Develop in both batch and online environments while adhering to relevant standards
• Work closely with our user community to provide technical and non-technical advice
