Senior Backend Developer Umbraco C#.net

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• Excellent working knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, React Framework, MS SQL Server, Mongo DB, and Elasticsearch
• Understanding of SOLID development principles
• Previous experience working on projects using the Umbraco CMS
• Continuous Delivery skills, tools, and techniques such as Git, Github, Team City, Octopus, Jenkins, and Selenium
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and setting up, managing resources, and deploying apps
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
• Capability to work with and develop multiple REST APIs documented with OpenAPI/swagger and other API messaging formats such as JSON, XML, and SOAP
• Experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and R
• Experience of structured testing and quality assurance approaches such as Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development
• Positive and cooperative approach, working effectively across departments and within a team
• Experience working in an agile/Kanban environment
• Willingness to challenge existing thinking in order to improve processes

Responsibilities:

• Lead the eCommerce web and application development from a technical perspective
• Collaborate with the front end developer and design resource to deliver improved UI and UX
• Analyse and suggest improvements to existing website features
• Identify ways to automate processes while working alongside the business lead
• Implement automated regression testing for the software developed
