Second Line Desktop Support

Salary: £28,000 - 34,000 per year

Requirements:

• Level 4 IT qualification or equivalent industry-recognised qualification
• Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Intune
• Minimum of two years experience in a Second Line IT support or field-based support role
• Strong experience supporting Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows operating systems, Android devices, and iOS devices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hardware installation, configuration, and diagnostics experience
• Knowledge of networking technologies including VPNs, LANs, DNS, and firewalls
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Methodical and organised approach to work
• Full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points
• Access to your own vehicle for business travel
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to commute to sites within approximately one hour of Woking

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite Second Line IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, systems, and peripherals
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Support and monitor network infrastructure including VPNs, LANs, DNS, and firewalls
• Assist with Microsoft 365, Intune, and cloud-based technologies
• Record, manage, and resolve incidents through the service desk system
• Carry out software deployments, upgrades, and system updates
• Perform routine maintenance, backup, and housekeeping activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver technical projects and service improvements
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with staff
