Scrum Master – CRM Programme

Salary: £46,000 - 56,500 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Strong experience in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum and/or Kanban
• Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps for planning, backlog management, and reporting
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams
• Ability to help teams consistently deliver against commitments and sprint goals
• Strong stakeholder management experience in organisational change and transformation programmes
• Experience managing dependencies across multiple business and technical teams
• Excellent communication, facilitation, mentoring, and leadership skills
• Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience delivering software, digital, or business transformation projects
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, CRM-driven transformation, Higher Education, large complex organisations, or business change and digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable
• Ability to accommodate a 12-month fixed-term contract

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
• Support feature planning, backlog refinement, and delivery prioritisation
• Monitor team performance and sprint metrics to support delivery against objectives
• Manage dependencies between delivery teams and wider business functions
• Identify, remove, and escalate delivery impediments and risks
• Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership teams on short- and long-term planning
• Improve communication, transparency, and stakeholder engagement across the programme
• Support delivery teams through a major Dynamics 365 CRM transformation
• Work with stakeholders to align business needs with delivery priorities and sprint goals
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of Agile delivery practices across the organisation

We are recruiting for an experienced Scrum Master to support a significant digital transformation programme centred on a bespoke Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform that underpins critical business operations. This visible role involves multidisciplinary teams and substantial stakeholder engagement. The position is based in Birmingham, with hybrid working averaging one office visit every two weeks. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary of £46,000–£56,500.
