Salesforce Technical Lead - London

Salary: £38,000 - 74,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong entrepreneurial, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex, including triggers, asynchronous processing, and integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and branching models.
• Awareness of Salesforce security principles and secure-by-design implementation, including data protection and access control.
• Experience providing technical leadership across Salesforce dependencies and integrations with legacy systems, and the ability to drive technical strategy and resolve integration challenges.
• Ability to implement monitoring and logging and proactively troubleshoot Salesforce environments.
• Strong experience working and leading within an agile development methodology.
• Ability to customise and optimise the user experience and manage profiles, permissions, and sharing models.
• Experience with Industry Clouds such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Social Housing, or Retail is highly desirable.
• Experience or certifications with Experience Cloud, FSL, Agentforce, Data 360, or middleware is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using agile and DevOps practices, including demo solutions.
• Own day-to-day technical delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes using best-practice development approaches.
• Develop robust, scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce configuration.
• Build, configure, and support routes to production through automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and aligned with platform and regulatory best practices.
• Improve the reliability, quality, and maintainability of Salesforce-based solutions across client enterprises.
• Produce detailed technical designs, build working demos and prototypes, and support solution validation throughout delivery.
• Work closely with Technical Architects on solution implementation while developing architectural capability.
• Support Technical Architects in embedding best practice within the assigned team and across our engineering and Salesforce communities of practice.
• Ensure delivery teams follow appropriate frameworks, coding standards, architectural patterns, and ways of working; work with our Centre of Excellence to extend or update standards as needed.
• Coach and develop engineering capability within the Salesforce team, contribute to a community of practice, and stay current with Salesforce platform developments.
