RF Signature Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require an understanding of radar cross section (RCS) assessment, reduction or design.
• We require experience in computational electromagnetics and/or RF free-space measurements, such as RCS, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), antenna testing, or similar.
• We require experience in data analysis and interpretation of complex datasets.
• We require experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks or RhinoCAD.
• We require a STEM degree.
• We require you to be a UK National and eligible to work in the UK.
• We require you to be eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Check (SC) level security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We assess RF signatures using computational modelling and simulation techniques.
• We modify and prepare CAD models for electromagnetic analysis.
• We run simulations and analyse results to support technical assessments.
• We investigate target configurations, materials and signature characteristics.
• We produce technical reports and customer-facing documentation.
• We work closely with Dstl analysts and MOD stakeholders to deliver evidence-based recommendations.
• We support RF and electromagnetic signature analysis, including RCS, computational modelling and data analysis across defence programmes.
• We assess electromagnetic signatures of advanced air systems to provide technical insight for defence capability decisions.
