Job Description

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We are looking for a proactive and analytical reliability data engineer, or graduate reliability data engineer, to join our Reliability team within QRS.
  • You should have a passion for data, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • You should be comfortable working with large datasets and have strong analytical skills.
  • You should be able to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for action.
  • You should enjoy collaborating with colleagues across the business and communicating insights clearly.
  • You should combine technical capability with curiosity, using initiative to investigate data and support informed decision-making.
  • Degree qualification (Bachelors level or above), preferably in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another technical discipline.
  • Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or reliability environment.
  • Knowledge or certification relating to data analytics, Power BI, AI tools, or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience creating automated dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Transform complex reliability and operational data into meaningful insights that support business decisions.
  • Use data analytics, reporting tools, and AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot to identify trends and automate reporting.
  • Investigate performance issues and provide valuable information to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Support business decisions through analysis of reliability and operational data.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to communicate insights in a clear and meaningful way.
