Python Software Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Python software engineering experience
• Experience building automation frameworks and internal tooling
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Experience creating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2
• Experience automating Windows environments with PowerShell
• Experience with configuration management using Puppet
• Experience building CI/CD integrations for infrastructure delivery
• Familiarity with AWS, cloud, platform, and engineering environments

Responsibilities:

• Build automation frameworks and tooling using Python
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform
• Create reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja/Jinja2
• Automate Windows environments through PowerShell
• Manage and improve configuration management with Puppet
• Build CI/CD integrations for infrastructure delivery
• Work closely with cloud, platform, and engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Drive infrastructure standardisation, reliability, and scalability across complex environments
