Product Owner

Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role with responsibility for prioritising backlogs and working closely with software engineering teams.
• We are looking for experience working within Agile software development environments.
• We are looking for a strong understanding of Product Backlog management and prioritisation.
• We are looking for excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• We are looking for the ability to translate technical and business requirements into actionable development work.
• We are looking for strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We are looking for a collaborative approach and a genuine interest in building great products.
• Experience within cyber security, cloud technologies, software products, or other technically complex environments would be highly beneficial.
• Previous experience working within Defence, Government, or other regulated industries would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• You must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We will own and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring priorities are clear and aligned with business objectives.
• We will translate customer requirements and business goals into detailed user stories and deliverable product features.
• We will work closely with Agile engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• We will define Product Goals and help development teams maintain focus on delivering value.
• We will plan and coordinate product releases, including documentation, deployment activities, and internal communications.
• We will gather customer feedback to influence future product development.
• We will monitor third-party technologies and component lifecycles to support ongoing product evolution.
• We will work with internal stakeholders to ensure product roadmaps remain commercially and technically aligned.
