Oracle APEX Software Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong, proven expertise in Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Experience in database design and data modelling
• Solid understanding of web application development and RESTful services
• Knowledge of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning
• Excellent problem-solving ability and an eye for detail
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a high-performing team

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications
• Lead technical solutions and act as the go-to expert for areas of ownership
• Collaborate with analysts, customers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into digital experiences
• Craft efficient SQL and PL/SQL, design robust data models, and optimise application performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to keep platforms reliable and secure
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support to help keep services running seamlessly
• Mentor and support other developers
• Stay up to date with the latest APEX capabilities and best practices
