Microsoft Modern Workplace Specialist
Job Description
Salary: £58,000 - 58,000 per year
Requirements:- Experience in Microsoft 365 administration and Modern Workplace tooling
- Experience with endpoint and device management, including Intune
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based solutions
- Scripting or automation skills to improve efficiency
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cloud best practice
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Customer-focused approach with an emphasis on user experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, or Security Administrator Associate are desirable, or equivalent experience
- Configure, maintain, and optimise Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Provide high-quality end-user support and resolve Modern Workplace-related issues
- Support and maintain Microsoft Autopilot to enable efficient device provisioning and lifecycle management
- Manage devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and ensure policy compliance
- Package, deploy, and maintain software applications, with a focus on automation where possible
- Support security and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Enhance collaboration and productivity through Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related tools
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows Virtual Desktop and wider Azure integrations
- Manage mobile devices, including Android devices (particularly Samsung) using Samsung Knox and Apple iOS devices via Apple Business Manager
- Support the delivery and ongoing operation of a secure BYOD environment
- Produce clear documentation and deliver training to users and IT colleagues
