Lead Python Developer

Salary: £55,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead or Principal Developer role
• Strong Python development experience
• Expert-level PostgreSQL knowledge
• Azure Data Factory experience
• Strong Power BI capabilities
• Experience building data pipelines and reporting solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and Business Analysis skills
• SharePoint experience
• Financial Services, Asset Management, ETF, FinTech or Capital Markets experience
• Passion for technology and innovation

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications
• Build and optimise Python-based solutions and automation tools
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases and data models
• Deliver Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions
• Create insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities
• Drive technical best practice across development teams
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions
• Support the adoption of AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools
• Integrate financial and market data into internal systems and reporting platforms
