Lead DevOps Engineer

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 6 years delivering production-grade cloud solutions
• DevSecOps and Zero Trust Architecture experience
• Commercial experience deploying and operating infrastructure and applications on AWS and other public/private hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or the Atlassian Suite for source control and code review
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with Test Driven Development and relevant tools and frameworks
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, EKS, or AKS
• Knowledge of event streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink

Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure and applications using CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Contribute to custom test automation frameworks
• Maintain and update scripts as requirements evolve
• Support environment setup for manual and automated testing
• Investigate and resolve production incidents
• Conduct gap analysis and scope modifications
• Support contingency planning, including backup and restore procedures
• Document changes to modules and test activities
• Mentor and lead the team on delivery
