Junior IT Support Desk Advisor

Salary: £23,061 - 24,685 per year

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to accurately gather, record, and clearly communicate customer issues and needs
• Experience in following complex, technical instructions
• An aptitude for computers and IT
• Willingness to develop knowledge and understanding of IT support and university systems

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support and triage to end-users, including staff, students, and visitors
• Resolve issues where possible and escalate to more senior team members when required
• Support software, systems, and hardware for staff, students, and other users
• Undertake day-to-day operational maintenance and support tasks for campus software and hardware
• Work directly with users to provide IT support and assist with issue resolution
• Keep up to date with developments in the field and the universitys ongoing requirements
• Grow knowledge and understanding to help maintain high standards of support
