IT Technician

Requirements:

• Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Office 365
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and basic networking
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience within an educational environment would be desirable
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Appropriate qualifications and training for the role

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and software
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and Windows operating systems
• Set up and support AV equipment, projectors, and video conferencing systems
• Manage Active Directory accounts and password resets
• Assist with network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi and physical connectivity
• Maintain accurate IT asset, software, and equipment records
• Support schools with day-to-day IT issues and technical queries
• Follow health, safety, and IT security procedures
