IT Support Engineer (2nd Line)

Salary: £30,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IT Support or 2nd Line Support role
• Strong Microsoft knowledge and experience is essential
• Microsoft certifications would be highly advantageous
• Networking and Cisco experience would be beneficial
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment would be advantageous
• Any project management experience would be a bonus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organised with a proactive attitude
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to occasional travel requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across the business
• Manage and support the internal helpdesk and ticketing system
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user issues
• Support Microsoft-based systems and infrastructure
• Assist with networking and connectivity issues
• Report, document, and maintain IT records
• Support ongoing IT improvements and projects
• Travel occasionally to additional company sites for emergency support when required
