IT Operations Engineer (2nd Line)

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven 2nd line IT experience
• Experience working in a fast-moving SaaS-based IT environment
• Scripting ability in one or more languages, such as Python or Bash
• Confident supporting end-user hardware (Windows/macOS)
• Good debugging skills and willingness to pick up unfamiliar tasks
• AWS cloud experience or cloud certifications is desirable
• Strong grasp of core networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi) is desirable
• Networking or security certifications (e.g. CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are desirable
• Bachelors degree in a related field is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Manage the applications, workspaces and hardware our team relies on every day
• Work closely with our wider IT and engineering teams to operate, automate and grow our IT environment
• Work across our London-based offices, external sites and our growing cloud presence
• Administer SaaS applications including Google Workspace, Iru, Revolut People and Linear
• Use AI tooling to automate manual IT-related tasks
• Own office hardware issues, including laptops, meeting room AV and printers
• Provide 2nd line IT support
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding staff
