IT Manager

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with experience in roles such as IT Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Senior Infrastructure Engineer, IT Operations Manager, Technical Services Manager, or Senior Systems Engineer.
• We ideally need hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, networking, firewalls and switching, backup and disaster recovery, endpoint security, and hardware support.
• We are looking for experience managing vendors and suppliers.
• We would value experience supporting users in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• We need someone who can communicate confidently with users at all levels, from shop floor teams to senior leadership.
• We are looking for a commercially minded person who enjoys solving business problems with technology.
• We need someone who is comfortable both delivering infrastructure projects and resolving day-to-day technical issues.
• We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with external technology partners and suppliers.
• We want someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service across the business.

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to take full ownership of our IT infrastructure and day-to-day operations.
• You will manage our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• You will support Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and security.
• You will manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• You will work with external MSPs and technology vendors to deliver projects and resolve technical issues.
• You will support users across our office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.
• You will lead infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, and technology improvements.
• You will manage endpoint security and cyber security best practice.
• You will support business systems and reporting where required.
• You will act as the bridge between technical suppliers and non-technical stakeholders.
