IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager
Job Description
Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per year
Requirements:- A degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and Microsoft 365 administration.
- A strong understanding of networking, domains, cloud services and cyber security best practice.
- Experience implementing data retention policies and achieving Cyber Essentials compliance.
- Excellent project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience implementing or integrating CRM, research data-capture, laboratory information management (LIMS) or similar workflow systems.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Experience in web design.
- Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check, right to work in the UK, two satisfactory references including your most recent employer, and verification of qualifications where applicable.
- Manage and develop our IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment and domain administration.
- Design and implement new systems, workflows and technology solutions that improve efficiency across the business.
- Support the evaluation, implementation and integration of scalable digital systems as we expand our biobanking and research capabilities, including CRM, research data-capture and sample-management systems.
- Lead Cyber Essentials, data retention, security and compliance initiatives.
- Manage our IT suppliers, telecommunications providers and software licensing.
- Oversee user setup, equipment and asset tracking, CCTV, ID card systems, Adobe licensing and laboratory software.
- Support IT budgeting, identify opportunities to reduce costs and ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Take ownership of technology projects from concept through to delivery, working across every department.
- Balance day-to-day management of our IT environment with the design and delivery of new systems that support business growth.
