IT Engineering Support

Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a business support, PMO support, service support, or administration environment
• Understanding of user onboarding and account management processes
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data management
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for workflow management and documentation
• Existing Security Check (SC) clearance
• Desirable: Experience working in secure or regulated environments
• Desirable: Knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement methodologies and practices
• Desirable: Current Developed Vetting (DV) clearance

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage onboarding requests and work with resourcing teams to identify upcoming new joiners and leavers
• Coordinate account requests, setup, configuration, testing, and verification for new starters
• Work with support and technical teams to prioritise and complete account requests within agreed timescales
• Manage account disablement and deletion for departing personnel
• Track and report onboarding progress, provide status updates to stakeholders, and maintain onboarding records
• Act as a key contact between business users, support teams, and service providers
• Facilitate communication to resolve onboarding and access-related issues
• Monitor service request fulfilment, escalate issues when necessary, and coordinate activities across teams
• Maintain and update onboarding and support process documentation
• Review processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Engage with technical and support teams when service offerings or technical solutions change
• Work with management and support functions to address recurring issues and improve processes
• Contribute to initiatives that improve service quality and user experience
