Information Systems Analyst

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Degree or apprenticeship (Level 6) in IT, Informatics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling, tools, and dynamic array functions.
• Proven analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical and process problems.
• Understanding of GDPR and data protection laws.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in the care sector, NHS, or charity sector is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Power Query, SQL for extraction and reporting, and data modelling is desirable.
• Exposure to Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric, or ETL/ELT pipelines is desirable.
• Knowledge of database administration, including SQL stored procedures, CRUD, or low-code platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with department heads to understand information needs and map out technical solutions.
• Create engaging reports, dashboards, and visual presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
• Build, maintain, and extend databases, analytical spreadsheets, and data models across HR, Finance, and Care operations.
• Participate in IT projects to streamline data collection and safeguard data architecture and GDPR compliance.
• Design, build, and optimise systems that turn operational data into meaningful reports.
• Communicate directly with stakeholders across the organisation to support decisions that improve care.

We are a national learning disability charity based in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and this is a full-time, permanent hybrid role in our IT team. The position is mainly on-site for 23 days per week and offers a salary of £38,414.20 per year plus an excellent benefits package.
