Industrial Software Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with C# development
• Good SQL experience
• Experience working with integrated systems and data flows
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing, industrial, or process environment experience is desirable
• Basic understanding of PLCs or industrial control systems is advantageous
• Python and/or PHP experience is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support production-critical applications primarily using C# and SQL
• Troubleshoot systems and integrations across complex manufacturing operations
• Improve system reliability, data integrity, and overall performance
• Support reporting and visualisation solutions including Grafana and Power BI
• Contribute to legacy system support and major modernisation projects
• Work alongside operational, process control, and wider technical teams
