Graduate .NET Developer

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a degree (BSc/BA) in Computing, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related subject.
• We require GCSEs, or equivalent, in English and Mathematics.
• We require an understanding of programming principles and software development.
• We require experience with at least one programming language.
• We require knowledge of database design concepts.
• We require strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• We require a logical and methodical approach to work.
• We require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• We require excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• We require a collaborative, positive team mindset.
• We require enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
• We require a self-motivated, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Desirable: experience with .NET technologies.
• Desirable: knowledge of SQL-based databases.
• Desirable: exposure to Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• We assist in the development of new applications and the enhancement of existing systems.
• We support and maintain business-critical software systems.
• We produce program specifications for system changes and new developments.
• We write, test, and maintain code across a variety of technologies used within the department.
• We ensure all solutions are thoroughly tested and documented.
• We troubleshoot and resolve user issues, escalating where appropriate.
• We collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions and support services.
• We contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, processes, and best practices.
• We keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• We support wider team activities and projects as required.
