G Suite/Workspace Field Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need at least 2 years of proven experience in a fast-paced MSP service desk environment.
• We need strong, hands-on administration skills in Google Workspace and macOS.
• We value exposure to Apple Business Manager or Apple-centric MDMs such as Jamf or Mosyle.
• We need the ability to support Microsoft 365 and Windows alongside Mac expertise.
• We need a solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi.
• We need exceptional, clear communication and the ability to speak calmly and discretely with a wide range of people.
• We need you to be based within an easy, accessible commute into and around London for occasional client visits.
• We look for a security-focused mindset and a preference for the right fix over the quick fix.

Responsibilities:

• We act as the face of the service desk, providing exceptional 2nd line troubleshooting across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
• We administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and a growing ecosystem of SaaS platforms.
• We manage user and device lifecycles, including secure offboarding, device configuration, and new-starter inductions.
• We use HaloPSA and ClickUp to manage workflows.
• We proactively build automations and explore AI tools to reduce repetitive tasks.
• We maintain thorough internal documentation and accurate asset records.
• We visit client sites across London when needed, while working from home the rest of the time.
