DV Cleared Data Scientist

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Active DV Clearance and 10 years of UK residency required
• Expert-level skills in interpreted and compiled languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Proficiency with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• Deep practical knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of graphs, time-series modelling, numerical algorithms, and geospatial analytics
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing project delivery
• Ability to work independently with an innovation-focused mindset

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct line management and technical leadership for a team of 6 data scientists across multiple agile projects
• Drive the exploitation of complex datasets on critical customer platforms to deliver actionable outcomes
• Coordinate the design, build, and implementation of custom data models, intelligent algorithms, and machine learning solutions
• Act as a senior technical authority to upskill and mentor team members in data science and AI practices
• Identify high-impact opportunities and champion emerging technologies to solve complex customer challenges
