DevOps Build Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £24,000 - 64,000 per year
Requirements:- 2+ years of industry experience
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or Python
- Experience automating workflows via shell, Bash, or cmd on Linux and/or Windows
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, or SVN
- Clear written and spoken communication skills in English
- Comfortable collaborating with others and taking ownership of your work
- Enthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and refining features
- Strong software design and problem-solving abilities
- Nice to have: experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
- Nice to have: familiarity automating C#/C++ builds, such as with MSBuild or CMake
- Nice to have: exposure to full-stack development
- Nice to have: background working in the games industry
- Design, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platform
- Monitor and continuously improve our automated build and CI systems
- Partner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructure
- Create and keep documentation of the build and release process up to date
- Support the release manager during patch releases
- Be a go-to resource for teammates who need assistance
