Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a High School Diploma.
• We require at least 1 year of experience in warehouse or supply chain work in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.
• We require basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Previous datacenter experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• We perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
• We use process knowledge and best judgment to complete the next task without direct supervision.
• We coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including PO receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor activities.
• We ensure complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
• We perform inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and datacenter regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity.
• We handle material movement, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management in line with standard process.
• We carry out destruction of data bearing devices following documented procedures and runbooks.
