Cyber Security Manager

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced and driven Cyber Security Manager with proven ability to define and deliver a cyber security strategy.
• We need someone who can manage and operate effectively in a complex environment.
• We require experience across both IT and OT security environments.
• We value hands-on experience in incident response, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and supplier or third-party risk assessment.
• We prefer experience in manufacturing, industrial, or other complex operational environments.
• We would welcome experience upgrading legacy OT systems.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP and CISM are desirable.
• We expect the ability to work with senior stakeholders and operational teams to translate risk into practical security actions.

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to develop, own, and continuously evolve our Cyber Security Strategy across IT and OT environments.
• We need you to lead our current team and help grow our cyber security capability and headcount.
• You will translate business and operational risk into a clear, pragmatic cyber security roadmap.
• You will take end-to-end responsibility for cyber security across corporate IT systems, networks, cloud services, endpoints, and OT or ICS environments.
• You will define and enforce security architectures, controls, and standards across our estates.
• You will work closely with IT and OT stakeholders to ensure controls are practical, proportionate, and safe.
• You will ensure our cyber security policies, standards, and procedures are enforced and followed across the organisation.
• You will remain hands-on in day-to-day cyber security operations, including incident response, investigation, monitoring, and vulnerability management.
• You will assess supplier and third-party risk.
• You will lead and participate in cyber incident response exercises and real incidents, embedding lessons learned.
• You will own cyber risk management and contribute to the enterprise risk register.
• You will ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials, and ICS security guidance.
• You will support audits, assessments, and regulatory or customer assurance activities.
