Consulting Systems Engineer

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Were looking for 10+ years of technology experience, including proven expertise in the telecom industry.
• We expect strong knowledge of at least one major networking vendor (Cisco, Juniper, or Arista) and a specialization in service provider, data centre, or enterprise networks.
• Were looking for CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent knowledge.
• You should have excellent communication, presentation, and consulting abilities.
• We value a proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for driving transformation.
• You should have an engineering degree or a related qualification and be fluent in English.
• You should be experienced in preparing pre-sales deliverables, including Bills of Materials, Service Level of Effort estimates, design documentation, and Scopes of Work.
• You should have experience mentoring early-career professionals and supporting their development.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with our sales teams and customers to design and position advanced networking solutions, acting as a trusted advisor across Telecom, MSP, and emerging Neocloud environments.
• Build strategic relationships with customers, partners, and OEMs; shape go-to-market strategies and contribute to our technical account plans.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, create proposals, Bills of Materials, and Scopes of Work, and present and defend solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with industry trends and share insights internally.
• Mentor early-career professionals.
• Advise on connectivity solutions across multiple domains and collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to deliver integrated solutions.
