Job Description
Salary: £26,000 - 48,000 per year
Requirements:- 1+ years of experience within commodities.
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Econometrics, Applied Economics, or a related subject.
- Experience researching, analyzing, and modelling data, ideally through prior internship experience or a related position.
- Python coding skills are required; proficiency with Excel is a plus.
- Passion for investing and trends in commodities markets.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to quickly synthesize thoughts and organize information.
- Openness to tackle any project or task as required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues across multiple teams and regions.
- Support the development of commodity supply-and-demand models used by our trading desks.
- Build and improve analytical tools and desk processes.
- Produce ad hoc market analysis to support trading ideas based on short-term developments.
- Monitor and enhance the quality of market and fundamental data.
- Maintain and operate key fundamental data processes supporting desk activity.
