Job Description

Salary: £50,000 - 82,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We seek a candidate with 10+ years of experience in roles such as Sales Engineer, Consulting Sales Engineer, or Solution Architect in cloud, networking, infrastructure, and/or cybersecurity.
  • We require in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least two public or private cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or NSX.
  • We require proficiency in modern software architecture, including CI/CD, DevOps tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM, Infrastructure as Code, scalability, and API-first strategy.
  • We require working knowledge of Python, Java, and/or other programming languages.
  • Public cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP are highly recommended.
  • Prior experience building Agentic AI applications is highly desired.
  • Prior experience designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies is preferred.
  • We value proven networking and security expertise; industry certifications from leading vendors are highly desirable.
  • We require excellent presentation and demonstration skills, along with superior documentation and technical writing capabilities.
  • We require at least three years of experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, and software development.
  • We require proficiency in English and comfort with public speaking.
  • We require a bachelors degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is favorable.
Responsibilities:
  • We expect you to help customers create multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud security blueprints, emphasizing vendor-neutral, cloud-agnostic design and implementation best practices.
  • You will develop expertise in our Fortinet products for cloud solutions, maintain knowledge of competing products and services, respond to industry analyst inquiries, and conduct demonstrations.
  • You will attend customer meetings and advise on cloud security design and architecture.
  • You will create custom architecture and automation code for customer cloud deployments and publish reference architectures for specific use cases.
  • You will dedicate time to ongoing training and education on new technologies, help deliver technical webinars and hands-on demonstrations, and support the NSE Institute with advanced course materials and constructive feedback.
  • You will publish public-facing information, including whitepapers and blogs, and draft architecture papers analyzing and explaining technology adoption.
  • You will actively network within the industry to build relationships and awareness.

We are hiring a full-time Cloud Solution Architect for our Fortinet Professional Services team, with a specific focus on public cloud and cloud security technologies and related Fortinet products and solutions. The preferred location is Moorgate, London, United Kingdom, with four days per week in the office.
