Cloud & Cyber Security Engineer

Salary: £29,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced cloud framework and management systems knowledge in a hybrid environment
• Knowledge of virtualised and containerised IT systems
• Understanding of cyber security, including monitoring, detection, and response to security threats
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing hybrid cloud environments
• Ability to work in conjunction with key internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to support other technology teams and wider teams such as administration and finance

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the development of cloud-based applications and infrastructure for WYPF
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing hybrid cloud environments
• Work with key internal and external stakeholders to support delivery
• Support other technology teams and WYPFs wider teams, including administration and finance
• Design monitoring, detection, and response measures for security threats
• Act as the first line of defence in keeping systems safe
