Business Intelligence Developer (Looker)

Salary: £72,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• We require 3+ years of relevant experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Analytics Engineer, Data Visualization Specialist, ETL Developer, or in a similar role working with modern BI tools.
• We require excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• We need experience with Looker or other data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
• We need strong SQL skills, including query optimization for performance and maintainability.
• We require experience in data modeling and with dbt.
• We value the desire to work in an international environment, with minimal direction, and alongside highly engaged individuals.

Responsibilities:

• We create and maintain Looker dashboards.
• We create and maintain data models, Looker explores, and views.
• We gather requirements from stakeholders and Data Analysts, and act as a bridge between them and our Data Engineers to address data gaps.
• We manage Looker users, privileges, and folder structure.
• We set up best practices and data governance guidelines for Looker.
• We design data models to answer multiple business needs for use in Looker.
• We help our Data Analysts build high-quality dashboards.
• We collaborate with Data Engineers to organize our data for analytics.
• We lead initiatives that enable stakeholders to get the best from Looker and strengthen our data-driven culture.
