Business Domain Architect

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in a Lead Business Architecture role
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools
• Awareness of other architecture domains and how to work together to create an overarching Enterprise Architecture environment
• TOGAF certification, including The Open Group certification in Business Architecture
• Ability to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard
• For some roles, higher levels of National Security Vetting may be required, typically involving 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to define and evolve the target business capability model, business process model, and other artefacts in line with enterprise and functional strategies
• Undertake capability maturity assessments and identify opportunities to transform the business operating model, including capabilities, processes, organisational structure, and governance
• Document and maintain the current business architecture and relevant transition states required to realise the desired target state
• Translate the target state architecture into strategic initiatives and roadmaps to transform the business operating model and increase value to customers and other stakeholder groups
• Partner with the wider Enterprise Architecture function and Value Streams to analyse the impact of the target business architecture on data, applications, and infrastructure
• Lead and/or support the development of business cases required to deliver the target business architecture
• Communicate complex architectural concepts and transformation roadmaps to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business leaders, and IT teams
