Business Analyst (Technology)

Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Product Owner within an Agile environment.
• We need a strong track record of converting product requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• We need a solid understanding of systems architecture, integrations, APIs and data flows.
• We need experience working with REST APIs, JSON and tools such as Postman.
• We need working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, investigation and validation.
• We need experience mapping business processes and assessing downstream impacts.
• We need excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
• We need experience using Jira and Confluence.
• We value a highly organised, detail-oriented approach combined with a broader product and customer focus.
• Experience in digital consumer platforms, membership or subscription-based businesses is beneficial.
• Experience in retail, wellness, leisure or multi-site environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• We translate product requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and process flows.
• We lead backlog refinement sessions with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
• We analyse and document business processes, customer journeys, system integrations, APIs and data flows.
• We identify technical dependencies, risks, impacts and gaps before development commences.
• We define and document data requirements, ownership and quality standards.
• We support product prioritisation and technical decision-making through analysis and insight.
• We ensure requirements and documentation remain clear, consistent and reusable.
• We support testing activities and investigate system defects and production issues.
• We collaborate with local and international stakeholders to deliver business and technology solutions.
